Hypnosis and Christianity Do They Conflict?

I was discussing hypnosis with a lady recently who raised an interesting question, “Aren’t you afraid of giving your mind over to someone else?” Now the person I was speaking with was a devout Christian and of course that’s fine, as far as I’m concerned the beauty and complexity of our mind is a gift from God, and with free will, we can use it to our betterment or determent, that’ our choice.
