I worked with a woman who came out of a hypnotherapy session saying that it was the stupidest thing she’d ever tried, but that she was going to quit anyway, and she did. So…take that however you like.

Maybe the hypnotherapist *gave* her the suggestion that she’d think it was the stupidest thing ever, but she’d quit just out of spite.

well it is the power of suggestion more then anything, your paying someone to change your mind about smoking. it will work if you want it to.

IT WORKS, BUT YOU HAVE TO GO IN TO IT SERIOUSLY WANTING TO QUIT SMOKING. ALSO YOU HAVE TO BE SERIOUS ABOUT HYPNOSIS. IF YOU GO IN THINKING IT’S A JOKE, YOUR MIND WONT LET YOU BE TAKEN UNDER BY HYPNOSIS. I QUIT 30 YEARS AGO, BUT WHEN IN TO IT WITH AN OPEN MIND, AND DETERMINED TO QUIT.

I did hypnosis with a big group.
It didn’t work. Everytime I tried to relax and pay attention,
someone started hacking and interrupting the whole thing. Keep that in mind..no pun intended

  5. CR says:

    Doesn’t work

  6. Susan Yarrawonga says:

It might perhaps work if you are willing and wishing.

One hypnotist gave up on a smoker and told him that he was a resistant subject and the resistant subject still smokes.
