Question by Fail: How do I create an imaginary girlfriend and convince myself that it’s a real person?
I’ve given up on real social interaction for various reasons (physical disabilities, and was diagnosed with personality disorders) but I’m human, I yearn for companionship. This is the only realistic way of me getting a relationship.Should I study hypnosis to convince myself that something delusionary is reality?I’m not sure if I have the balls to go see a professional hypnotist, given the situation. Thanks for any advice.

You shouldnt feel like you have to ‘make up’ somebody to have a relationship. No doubt, you’re not the only person out that who has, or feels as if they have some sort of handicap preventing them from finding somebody. The vast majority of people may spend years looking for somebody they click with and thats not because there is something ‘wrong’ with them but because it is hard. Just focus on doing things that make you happy in life and somebody will come along ;)
