The more practice you get at going into a trance, the easier it is to go deeper. In that state, you become more relaxed and more responsive to suggestions. There is a limit though as in the deepest state, it resembles sleep, but isn’t sleep in the slightest. It’s not dangerous, but the subject will be unresponsive at this point because they’ll be so out of it.

The video in my source definitely explains it better than I can since I’ve never tried to put someone into that deepest state.

I use hypnosis as an alternative sort of treatment for a medical condition. When I’ve come out of a deep trance, I feel like I’ve been asleep. Technically, the brain wave patterns of someone under hypnosis/in trance, most closely resemble those of the waking brain, not the sleeping brain, but it does feel like waking up.

After coming out of a deep trance, it’s normal to have amnesia (be unable to remember) what one did or thought of during the deeper stages of trance. That said, during trance, one is simply in a very relaxed state, mentally and physically, but is still in control of their actions, and can’t be forced to do anything they wouldn’t normally do.

Trance is basically a state of intense relaxation, in which it is believed one can communicate with the “subconscious mind” in a way that may allow one’s brain to influence the function of one’s body, at least in the form of medical hypnosis, that’s the goal, like to heal a wart or stop pain.

all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The use of a Hypnotist is bull shite. If you go in to a deep trance nothing will happen except your suggestions will be stronger.
