What if schools replaced detention with turning the offending student into a statue?

Question by Dannelle M: What if schools replaced detention with turning the offending student into a statue?
Suppose it were possible(perhaps with hypnosis?) to temporarily turn troublesome students into unmoving, but fully aware statues, which would then be displayed where the whole school could see them, perhaps for part of or an entire school day.

Detention would still be an option if parents didn’t want their kids being frozen(even if it were harmless). If you were a parent, would you choose detention or statue? If you were a student in that situation, would you rather have detention or be a statue?

Remember, this is only hypothetical, meant to be a fun question to make people think. Thanks in advance for answering.

since i never get detention, i think that would be the most awesome thing ever, but if had the choice, id rather go to detention, and if i was a parent id rather my kid go to detention
