I’m really amazed by what it can do. I work with a therapist who had open abdominal surgery–on multiple occasions–without any pain relief other than self-hypnosis.

I’ve used it for various issues, most astonishingly, to heal the warts that had started taking over my foot…and begun spreading to my hands! They only began to heal when I actually focused on them while in trance, but they’ve been gone since July. And I’d had them for three years…although until I used the hypnosis specifically on them, they’d been spreading.

Studies have indicated hypnosis as a useful therapy in the treatment of everything from headaches to movement disorders to insomnia and warts. I’ve used it for panic attacks, warts, and my movement disorder, which I must say, it’s been the best treatment I’ve come across.

The only real reason I gave it a chance, initially, because I’d had disabling side effects from medication, and a doctor at Yale University had recommended it….so I was like…what the heck? Can’t hurt, right? And I can laugh about it later… I had no idea how much it could really help, especially with warts…the movement disorder is still a work in progress, but it has improved.
